After 20+ years of owning, showing and breeding purebred dogs, we are extremely grateful for the relationships we have forged, humbled by the successes that we've had, and thankful for the love of our dogs. But along the way there have been just as many missteps, heartaches, and difficult lessons learned.
With this page we hope to share our thoughts, insight, and helpful hints based on our own accomplishments and set backs from many years of doing what we love. Given that we are self-proclaimed research junkies, we will also share links to articles and information about canine ownership, health issues, genetics, and breeding that we have found valuable or simply enjoyable.
We do not profess to be experts at anything, and certainly do not have all the answers. We do however pride ourselves in the ability to see and understand the often very different perspectives, opinions, backgrounds, and emotions that this sport brings to the table.
Whether you enjoy or dislike it, whether you agree or disagree, we hope if nothing else that reading our notes at the Blog link above will provide you with the opportunity for "a moment of pause", to review, to reflect, to relate, and quite possibly...to see things in a different light.
